...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN LAUREL AND CENTRAL
JACKSON COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for southeastern
Kentucky.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southeastern Kentucky. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until 900 PM EDT for southeastern Kentucky.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT
FOR OWSLEY...WESTERN LESLIE...NORTHWESTERN PERRY...WESTERN BREATHITT
AND CLAY COUNTIES...

At 219 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Grannie to Wild Cat to Spruce Pine, moving east at 60
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Manchester, Hyden, Booneville, Simpson, Buckhorn, Turin,
Hoskinston, Travellers Rest, Blake, Brightshade, and Southfork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for southeastern
Kentucky.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
