Through 700 am, a broken line of showers and isolated thunderstorms will traverse northwest at near 10 mph across the outer Straits of Florida east of Floyd`s Wall, the eastern waters of Hawk Channel, and the eastern Upper Keys. Mariners encountering the strongest showers can expect moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph, and occasional lightning strikes.
