...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN ST.
TAMMANY PARISH THROUGH 130 PM CDT
...

At 1258 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Madisonville, or near Covington, moving southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Abita Springs, Madisonville, and Lacombe.

This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 57 and 78.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
