...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
  county, Lake IL.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
  may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 627 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated rainfall ending across the area with up to 1.5
    inches. Street flooding is likely to end shortly, but some
    creeks may continue to rise or remain elevated over the next
    few hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lake Forest, Mettawa, Vernon Hills, Lincolnshire,
    Bannockburn, Deer Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
