...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from Drum Point MD to Smith Point VA...
Tangier Sound and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island...
Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA...

At 526 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Fishing Bay to Deep Hole to near Mouth Of The Potomac
River, moving east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

  Mouth Of The Potomac River, Southwest Middle Grounds, Deep Hole,
  Fishing Bay, Nanticoke River Mouth, and Point Lookout around 530
  PM EDT.
  Deal Island and Bivalve around 535 PM EDT.
  Smith Island and Ewell around 545 PM EDT.
  Smith Island and Tangier Sound around 550 PM EDT.
  Crisfield around 605 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Point
Lookout.
