...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Mississippi Sound...
North Mobile Bay...
South Mobile Bay...

At 414 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located near Grand Bay, moving southeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
         result in structural damage.

Locations impacted include...
Gaillard Island, Dauphin Island Bridge, Fort Morgan, Bon Secour Bay,
Middle Bay Light, Heron Bay, Alabama Port, Point Clear, and
Portersville Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for the adjacent
coastal waters.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, large hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
