...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHISAGO...
NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON AND CENTRAL POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM
CDT...

At 126 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Forest Lake, or 21 miles southeast of Cambridge, moving northeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Forest Lake, Chisago City, Lindstrom, St. Croix Falls, Stacy, Taylors
Falls, Center City, Wyoming, and Shafer.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 130 and 140.
 U.S. Highway 8 in Minnesota between mile markers 0 and 5, and
between mile markers 7 and 22.
 U.S. Highway 61 between mile markers 163 and 164.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
