height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A low pressure
system will approach Vancouver Island this morning with an
attendant weakening cold front moving through the inner waters.
The front will dissipate this afternoon at the coast. Meanwhile,
high pressure will build N into the area later today into Wed
night, then persist through Thu night before weakening Fri into
Fri night. A trough will extend N along the SW Oregon coast Wed
through Fri, then will weaken Fri night. A cold front will move
into the NW portion Fri night, then continue SE across the region
Sat into Sat night. High pressure will rebuild over the area Sat
night.
