...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR DAVIESS COUNTY...

At 535 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rain had moved
out of the area. However, water may be slow to recede in some areas
that received the heavier amounts of rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Owensboro, Rockport, Whitesville, Masonville, Stanley,
  Knottsville, St. Joseph and Moseleyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
