The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Delaware Bay...
  Coastal waters from Great Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island DE out 20
  nm...

* Until 945 AM EDT.

* At 838 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Slaughter
  Beach, moving east at 20 knots. Another strong thunderstorm was
  located in eastern Sussex County Delaware and also moving east at
  20 knots and toward the Delaware Beaches.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. The strongest winds may
           occur ahead of any rain.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Overfalls Shoal, Brown Shoal Light, Fenwick Island, Slaughter
  Beach, Cape Henlopen, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Cape May
  Point, Buoy 2ms, and Indian River Inlet Bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from
ungrounded metal objects.
