Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
554 AM MDT Tue Jun 4 2024

.Discussion...

Hot and dry conditions will dominate through late week with the
warmest temperatures of the week expected on Wednesday and Friday.
Breezy afternoon winds will be possible today, but should decrease
as high pressure builds over the region through mid week. An
uptick in thunderstorm chances return for late week into early
next week, particularly across the southeast mountains and plains.
This will drop temperatures back towards climatological normals
beginning Sunday and continuing into next week.

Afternoon dispersions will rise into the very good to excellent
categories across southern CO both today and Wednesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
