 ...THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER THE FAR SOUTHEAST PLAINS COULD
QUICKLY BECOME SEVERE THIS AFTERNOON...

At 102 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of developing
thunderstorms over eastern Las Animas, Baca and southern Prowers
counties. These storms will have the potential to rapidly intensify
and become severe as they move northeast at 35 mph.
