...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR SOUTHWESTERN DENT, NORTHWESTERN SHANNON AND NORTHEASTERN
TEXAS COUNTIES...

At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated between 2 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Akers, Montauk, Montauk State Park and Ozark National Scenic
  Riverways.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Gladden Creek at Highway KK and Big Creek at County Road 390.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
