The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Dent County in south central Missouri...
  East central Pulaski County in central Missouri...
  Southern Phelps County in east central Missouri...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 519 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over northeastern Fort Leonard Wood, moving east at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fort Leonard Wood, St. Robert, Edgar Springs, Bangert, Howes,
  Lecoma, Lake Spring, and Anutt.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 180 and 183.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
