Southerly flow will prevail through the weekend allowing for a moist airmass to remain in place areawide. Afternoon minimum relative humidity values will range from 50 percent across deep east Texas and north Louisiana to around 70 percent across southeast Oklahoma and south Arkansas today. With the exception of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms possible across mainly south Arkansas and north Louisiana this afternoon and evening, dry conditions to prevail areawide. Another round of scattered convection will again be possible across north Louisiana and south Arkansas on Sunday. Otherwise, afternoon high temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s will be possible today and Sunday.
