...NWS Damage Survey for 05/02/24 Tornado Event in Concho and
McCulloch Counties...

.Overview...A supercell thunderstorm moving southeast through
northeast Concho County and extreme northwest McCulloch County
produced a tornado which touched down 4 miles west of Stacy.
This tornado had a path length of around 6 miles.

Survey Summary:
The tornado damaged electrical transmission lines on several
metal truss towers. One of the metal truss towers collapsed due
to the tornado increasing in intensity to an EF2. The path length
and width of the tornado was based on radar and photos of the
damage.
