Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
242 AM MDT Thu May 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Areas of lower elevation rain and mountain snow will end from NW to
SE this morning. A cool northwesterly flow aloft will result in
showers and a few thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly across
western zones. Another opportunity for late morning through early
evening showers and thunderstorms will be around Friday. The next
disturbance moves in this weekend, favoring southern zones for
additional precipitation before a warming and drying trend starts
late Sunday into early next week. -AM
