At 1042 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in northwest
Arkansas. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in
Crawford, Sebastian and Madison counties in Arkansas. The
precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. The precipitation was in
the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the
east at around 25 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour
was around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of three
quarters to around an inch. Coverage and intensity remained about
the same as last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this morning
and into this afternoon, partly sunny, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 73 to 81 degrees and southwest winds
5 to 10 mph.
