.DISCUSSION...A low pressure system will move through the region today
bringing gusty winds and chances for showers and thunderstorms this
evening and overnight. Winds this morning will initially be out of the south
and gradually strengthen through the morning and shift to the west
by around 11 am. These west winds will continue to strengthen
through the afternoon with sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph and gusts of up to
35 mph. There will be a chance for showers this afternoon with
increasing chances for thunderstorms by this evening. No severe weather
is expected over the forecast area at this time.

West winds this evening will shift to the northwest after midnight with
sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Northwest winds
will continue through most of the day Friday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (40-50 percent). Chance of showers
                    in the afternoon.
Max temperature.....Around 72.
Min humidity........26 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southerly winds of 15 to 20 mph in the morning, gusting
up to 30 mph. Winds will shift to the west after 11 am
with winds of 20 to 25 mph and gusts to around 35
                    mph.
