.DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorm activity will spread over the area this afternoon and
evening with strong winds and large hail possible through the
evening. A cold front crosses the state tonight as well, with gusty
northwest winds topping out around 40mph across the Missouri valley
region. Cooler temperatures are in store for Friday with highs only
in the 60s.
