...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHARLES CITY...
NORTHWESTERN NEW KENT...SOUTHEASTERN HENRICO...SOUTHWESTERN KING
WILLIAM AND SOUTHEASTERN HANOVER COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 407 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bottoms Bridge, or near Highland Springs, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Bottoms Bridge around 410 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Wrights Corner,
Wayside, Mountcastle, Orapax Farms, Elko, Montrose, Sandston,
Glendale, Westwood, and Richmond International.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
