...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN HERKIMER COUNTY THROUGH
1145 PM EDT...

At 1111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near McKeever to near Clinton to near Pitcher.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ilion, Herkimer, Mohawk, Frankfort, Ohio, West Winfield, Newport,
Middleville, Poland, Cold Brook, McKeever, Northwood, Cedarville,
Russia, Elizabethtown, Norway, Jersalem Hill, West Frankfort,
Spinnerville, and Corrado Corners.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
