Thunderstorms moved across Central Alabama early Monday morning, May 27, 2024,
producing widespread wind damage along the I-20 and I-59 corridors. Damage surveys
are ongoing, but an EF1 has been confirmed in Cherokee County. Preliminary data is
below.
