.DISCUSSION...

Calm winds early this morning will turn light out of the north for
most of the day, though some afternoon wind gusts of 10-15 mph can
be expected. 20-30% coverage of rain showers this afternoon into
early tonight, with a brief break in precipitation before
scattered rain showers return late Tuesday morning through mid-
afternoon. A few isolated thunderstorms can`t be ruled out during
early to mid-Tuesday afternoon, but chances are only around 10%
near the search area at this time. Precipitation will be light,
on the order of 0.05 to 0.2 inches for today through Tuesday.
Winds turn slightly breezier on Tuesday, with northerly winds
around 10 mph and gusts of 15 to 20 mph during the afternoon.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

Dense fog is no longer expected to develop this morning for KELO.
VFR ceilings/conditions are expected today. Scattered showers
return this afternoon, with a 10% chance for an isolated
thunderstorm in the late afternoon to early evening.

A break in precipitation starts early tonight and lingers until
late morning before scattered showers and a 10-20% chance for
isolated thunderstorms move in from the north. Precipitation ends
during the mid-afternoon.
