...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

  Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa and Benton Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Saturday evening at 900 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT TO LATE
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to late Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
  the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
  rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.
  At 22.0 feet, Water affects residences near the U.S. Highway 61
  bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning to a crest of 23.2 feet early Monday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT TO THURSDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flood Stage. Flood waters begin to impact
  agricultural land.
  At 11.5 feet, River Road is under water and the water is a few
  feet up onto the levee.
  At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing. Several
  county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning to a crest of 12.9 feet Monday evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water breaches the mill race dikes near
  Middle Amana.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.4
    feet early Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
