.DISCUSSION...
The early season heat wave will continue to escalate temperatures
and heat index values over South Central Texas, peaking this
weekend into Monday. Humidity values from Thursday through Monday
afternoons across Val Verde County, west of the dryline, will be
lower into the teens and single digits each day. However, the
wind speeds should trend a bit weaker through that stretch.
A few storms are possible over the Hill Country and Central Texas
Friday and another chance for isolated storms could come with a
cool front late Monday. Slightly less hot weather is expected for
the the middle of next week, and there could be some low chances
for rain each day.
