This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Overnight.

Between 2 AM and sunrise, a few thunderstorms could occur mainly
within Kansas portions of our area, but possibly as far north as
around Highway 6 in Nebraska. There is no threat for anything
severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Possibly as early as late Thursday afternoon, but more so into
Thursday evening and overnight, chances for thunderstorms will
increase across the outlook area. The best chances look to be
between 8 PM and 3 AM as a complex of storms pushes through the
area from northwest to southeast. Wind gusts of at least 70 MPH
are the primary threat, but hail up to the size of golf balls and
a few tornadoes are not out of the question.

Saturday through Monday (Memorial Day), periodic thunderstorm
chances return to the forecast. It is too early to confidently
assess any details regarding potential for severe storms, but
there are indications that Saturday late afternoon into Saturday
night could bear watching for possible severe activity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
