...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT BUFFALO...WESTERN SHERMAN AND
EASTERN DAWSON COUNTIES THROUGH 330 AM CDT...

At 247 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Eddyville to Elm
Creek. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Elm Creek, Odessa, Sumner, and Miller around 250 AM CDT.
  Amherst and Riverdale around 255 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Pleasanton,
Litchfield, Hazard, Ravenna and Poole.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 254 and 291.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
