...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WICHITA AND SOUTHEASTERN
GREELEY COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT MDT/100 AM CDT/...

At 1122 PM MDT/1222 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles southeast of
Leoti to 15 miles southeast of Tribune. Movement was southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Wichita
and southeastern Greeley Counties, including the following
locations... Lydia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
