FOR EASTERN CHEYENNE AND NORTHWESTERN RAWLINS COUNTIES IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS...
At 824 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles north of
Bird City, or 15 miles south of Benkelman, moving southeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 0822 PM CDT, dime to nickel
sized hail was reported 6 miles northwest of Bird City.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Bird City around 830 PM CDT.
McDonald around 835 PM CDT.
