967 WGUS82 KGSP 182056 FLSGSP Flood Advisory National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg SC 456 PM EDT Sat May 18 2024 NCC027-190000- /O.NEW.KGSP.FA.Y.0074.240518T2056Z-240519T0000Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Caldwell NC- 456 PM EDT Sat May 18 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the following county, Caldwell. * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. This is a slow moving storm with high rainfall rates. If the storm persists for an extended period of time, a flood warning may be issued. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
