* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with
  gusts up to 45 mph. For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously
  hot conditions with heat index values up to 97 expected.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 7 AM PDT Monday. For the
  Excessive Heat Warning, from 11 AM Wednesday to 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Heat
  related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and
  high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, Highway 14, Highway 58 below Tehachapi Pass, and
  Highway 178 below Walker Pass.
