...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CDT
FOR WESTERN MADISON...SOUTHEASTERN LIMESTONE...NORTHWESTERN
CULLMAN...SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN...MORGAN AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES...

At 254 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Moulton,
moving east at 45 mph. At 254 AM emergency management reported
multiple trees and powerlines down in north Decatur.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Athens, Hartselle, Moulton, Redstone
Arsenal, Meridianville, Priceville, and Trinity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for Middle
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 AM CDT
for north central, northeastern and northwestern Alabama.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
