...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of South Central Kansas, including the following
  county, Sedgwick.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations in Wichita is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 823 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wichita, Derby, Haysville, Bel Aire, Maize, Downtown Wichita,
    Eastborough, South Wichita, Mcconnell Air Force Base, East
    Wichita, Eisenhower National Airport, West Wichita, Northeast
    Wichita, Oaklawn and Jabara Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
