Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
444 AM CDT Wed May 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...Moisture and rain chances will increase later this
afternoon from the northwest as southerly flow increases ahead of
approaching system. Storms chances will be possible across the
central and northern portions of the CWA today and tonight with
more rain tomorrow on Thursday. This will help limit any fire
weather concerns. Patchy dense fog is expected across southeast MS
early this morning, but is expected to dissipate by daybreak.
Areas of patchy dense fog will be possible early tomorrow morning
across the southeast MS.
