...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT YAZOO AND CENTRAL MADISON
COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...

At 1146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Yazoo City to near Tinsley to near
Phoenix. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Yazoo City, Bentonia, Myrleville, and Little Yazoo around 1150 PM
  CDT.
  Flora and Benton around 1155 PM CDT.
  Way and Vaughan around 1210 AM CDT.
  Canton around 1215 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
