FELICIANA, CENTRAL WEST BATON ROUGE, WESTERN ST. HELENA, EAST CENTRAL
POINTE COUPEE, NORTHWESTERN LIVINGSTON, EAST FELICIANA AND EAST BATON
ROUGE PARISHES, EASTERN WILKINSON AND WESTERN AMITE COUNTIES THROUGH
100 AM CDT
...

At 1214 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Garden City to near Port
Allen. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker, Jackson, St. Francisville, Clinton,
Centreville, Woodville, Slaughter, Gloster, Wilson, Norwood,
Wakefield, Spillman, Watson, Pride, Felps, Brownfields, Greenwell
Spring, and Merrydale.

This includes Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 5 and
8.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
southeastern Louisiana...and southern Mississippi.
