AND EASTERN WASHINGTON PARISHES THROUGH 345 AM CDT
...
At 315 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Enon to 8 miles
southeast of Madisonville. Movement was east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bogalusa, Covington, Abita Springs, Varnado, Madisonville, Folsom,
Sun, Bush, Lacombe, and Enon.
This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 56 and 78.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
