.DISCUSSION...
Southeasterly winds will prevail the rest of the day into tonight
with severe thunderstorms expected to develop across the Caprock
this afternoon and move into the Rolling Plains this evening.
Erratic wind gusts between 60-80 mph will accompany severe storms in
addition to very heavy rain. Thunderstorm chances will wane from
west-to-east with excellent RH recovery tonight with a persistent
southeasterly wind. Outside of a few showers and storms on Wednesday,
mostly dry and cool conditions develop ahead of better storm chances
from Thursday through Saturday.
