...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL TIPTON COUNTY THROUGH
115 PM CDT...

At 1249 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Munford, or 10 miles south of Fort Pillow State Park, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Munford, Brighton, Tipton, Atoka, Gilt Edge, Burlison,
Garland, Egypt, Bride, Gift, Clopton, Drummonds, Idaville, Crosstown,
Beaver, Akins Corner, and Randolph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
west Tennessee.
