FOR NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI...SOUTHERN PEMISCOT...SOUTHEASTERN
DUNKLIN...WESTERN DYER...NORTH CENTRAL LAUDERDALE AND SOUTHWESTERN
LAKE COUNTIES...
At 1206 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Miston to near Blytheville to near Lake City,
moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Dyersburg, Blytheville, Caruthersville, Gosnell, Manila, Hayti,
Steele, Leachville, Caraway, Hornersville, Hayti Heights, Cooter,
Dell, Burdette, Deering, Bradleytown, Heloise, Unionville, Miston,
and Little River.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...southeastern Missouri...and west Tennessee.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
