* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Jackson County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  Southeastern Kiowa County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  Northwestern Tillman County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 855 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles north of
  Headrick, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Altus, Snyder, Mountain Park, Indiahoma, Roosevelt, Headrick,
  Friendship, Altus Air Force Base, Warren, Tom Steed Reservoir, and
  northwestern Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area.
