...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN WOODS...SOUTHERN ALFALFA...SOUTHWESTERN GRANT...
WESTERN GARFIELD AND EASTERN MAJOR COUNTIES...

At 704 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles west of Carmen to near Ames, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Enid, Fairview, Helena, Waukomis, Lahoma, Ringwood, Drummond, Carmen,
Cleo Springs, Kremlin, Goltry, Ames, Meno, Jet, Aline, Nash,
Hillsdale, Carrier, Vance Air Force Base, and Orienta.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.

These storms are producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a
sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
