...National Weather Service Storm Surveys To Be Conducted Today in
Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties in Pennsylvania...

A National Weather Service survey team will be assessing damage
related to the suspected tornadoes in Westmoreland and Allegheny
Counties yesterday. The current plan is to begin the survey later
this morning in the Harrison City area, and then work southwest
towards the Elizabeth/Elrama locations.

Preliminary information on the findings will be available later
today. A final assessment of the damage surveys is expected to be
completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement over
the next few days.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/pbz
