...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ANSON...WESTERN
MONTGOMERY AND EASTERN STANLY COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Ansonville, or 14 miles south of Albemarle, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake, Norwood, Badin, Oakboro, Mount Gilead,
Uwharrie Haven, Eldorado, and Fish Tales Marina.
