...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO EARLY
FRIDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Kiamichi River near Antlers.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to early Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs along the west
bank of the Kiamichi River near Moyers. Some permanent buildings
on the campgrounds become isolated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 28.3 feet early
Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
