High pres southeast of New Eng remains in place through early Thu. A
cold front slides into southern New England late on Thu and across
the waters by early/mid Fri. The front will bring showers and
thunderstorms. Hit or miss showers and storms are possible through
the weekend with a front nearby. A frontal system lifts over the
waters later on Mon into Tue.
