poses a significant threat to boaters.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM EDT...

For the following areas...

Lake Ontario from Stony Point to Ogdensburg...

The Saint Lawrence River from Cape Vincent to Ogdensburg...

At 1121 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 nm southwest of
Tibbets Point, or 30 nm north of Mexico Bay, moving northeast at 25
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Pillar Point, Tibbets Point, Black River Bay, Sackets Harbor,
Henderson Harbor, St. Lawrence River, Westcott Beach, Chaumont Bay,
Cape Vincent, and Stony Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
