Ongoing light rain showers across portion of central/north-central MN into the Twin Ports and NW WI will continue to move southeast throughout the morning. Look for a quick 0.05-0.15 inches out of these showers. Additional scattered airmass showers and 20% chance for isolated thunderstorms develop late this morning and persist through the early evening. Thunderstorm potential will be highest from the Brainerd Lakes into NW WI. While most accumulations will be less than 0.2 inches, some locations that see thunderstorms could pick up 0.5 inches on a localized basis. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s today with min RH in the afternoon of 45-60% due to showers and cloudier skies. Light northwest winds turn northerly today, with afternoon gusts to 15 to 18 mph. Wednesday and Thursday will be rain free as high pressure moves into the region, though rain chances do return Thursday night into Friday with several additional rounds of rain chances this weekend into early next week. Winds of 15 mph or less on Wednesday before turning southerly on Thursday and becoming gusty during the daytime hours. Min RH on Wednesday will dip into the 25 to 35% range, lowest in the MN Arrowhead and NW WI. RH won`t be as low on Thursday, dropping into the 30-40% range for the Arrowhead and NW WI, and 40-45% range elsewhere.
