...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN IRON COUNTY THROUGH
445 PM CDT...

At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Upson, or 9 miles southwest of Ironwood, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ironwood, Hurley, Upson, Gile, Montreal, Pence, Van Buskirk, Iron
Belt, and Gile Flowage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northwestern Wisconsin.
